Peter Mahler is one of Berlin’s great new designers on the Eurpoean runway. He delivers classic styles with a twist in great new fabrics. Look for some of his wildest pieces at Shoka!

 




SARAH PACINI
Season after season, Belgian designer Sarah Pacini delivers a collection of Euro-chic seperates that are both feminine and urban in style. Her knits continue to be great accent pieces that are easy to wear and add a lot to any wardrobe.

CONCEPTS

Imported from France, this knitwear collection is designed with the modern woman in mind. One who is aware of fashion, but prefers to create her own personal look. The collection focuses on a soft form that envelopes the body.






RODIKA ZANIAN
Selecting Paris to inspire her designs, Rodika Zanian selects natural and soft materials for her collections. Her look displays playful designs with impeccable construction, fabric and texture. She has effortlessly fused an edgy and feminine appearance for the modern woman.

 

 

  


ISSEY MIYAKE FETE
The Ready to Wear designer Issey Miyake transcends trends and fads. Meaning “celebration” in French, Fete draws upon technological innovations and color to enhance the aesthetic experience of the wearer.

 

   


 


YOSHI YOSHI
Unique prints beautifully transform a casual top. Yoshi Yoshi employs new technologies to the garment by first making it then ink jet the design onto the garment. The blending of the casual with high fashion elements make their tops a timeless staple.

 

   


 


MIZONO
A nationally known designer based in San Mateo, CA, Mizono is recognized for her impeccably constructed and wearable architectural designs. Mizono uses the most dynamic fabrics coming out of Italy that are beautiful yet comfortable.

    




SOPHIE HONG
A Taiwanese designer, Sophie Hong has made a name for herself in the international market. Luxurious fabrics constructed in a modern silhouette make these designs unique for women across the world.

NUNO
Meaning fabric in Japanese, Nuno has been creating innovative textiles by combining traditional aesthetics with the latest computer and synthetics technologies. While they have been creating textiles for other designers, only recently have they started designing their own garments. Impeccable fabric and design is an art which Nuno has mastered.



MASAKI & KYOKO
These Japanese designers infuse rich colors into their exquisite fabrics to present a playful style. Renowned for their luxurious sweaters, watch for their intriguing vests and scarves promised to add instant style to any ensemble.

     


AKISHIKO
IZUKURA

The work of Akihiko Izukura, one of Japan’s primier fabric designers, can now be found at Shoka, in addition to boutiques and galleries in New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, Miami, and Santa Fe. Akihiko Izukura’s passion for weaving and dyeing stems not only from his family’s centuries-long history of creating kimonos and obis for the imperial family in Japan but also from his interest in achieving harmony with nature.



ELLEN
HAUPTLI

One of our premier art-to-wear designers, Ellen Hauptli combines Thai and Burmese silks or Pakastani hand-embroidered cotton raulis with her whimsical style. Her jackets are easily worn with jeans but have more than enough style to hold their own for any occasion.

   


JEAN WILLIAMS
CACICEDO

Cacicedo is a nationally renowned fiber artist and is regarded as the prime innovator in the Wearable Art Movement of the '70's. Her pieces have been exhibited at the Gulbenkian Museum, Portugal, at the Art Ginza Space, Tokyo, Japan, and extensively throughout the United States.
She has experiemented extensively with wool and, most recently in her work for Shoka, utilizes an exquisite Japanese wool crepe to create resist-dyed jackets that have incredible texture and flow.

 


HARARI
While Shoka carries a range of Harari, come in to see the fantastic Lulu skirts that Harari offers for summer and fall. They are a combination of Harari’s most beautiful 100% silk Chinese prints.

 


DOSHI
Wearable art in beautiful silks, Doshi creates exquisite hand dyed clothing in original designs that range from contemporary to traditional. The flattering shapes and flattering colors make Doshi’s garments timeless.
